As a graphic design intern for the Orange County Utilities Department in the Water Conservation Division, I was able to work alongside scientists and educators to create marketing and informational material for both public and internal use. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that allowed me to think about accessibility, build critical communication and teamwork skills and contribute to a public service. Projects included 3D modeled plans, A series of PowerPoint Presentation templates for educators, an ADA compliant Annual Report, and a video PSA animated commercial among many other projects. I look forward to pursuing this field of non-profit and graphic design as there is a need for good marketing strategies and well-branded visual identities that contribute back to our community.
